Weekend workouts/training/etc
Ran a 6K race this morning (Saturday) and, even after 1 hr of volunteering at the food prep and NOT having anyone to run with, I put in a very good pace of 9:31! I'm amazed...
Tomorrow (Sunday) is our group long run of 12 miles..... we're going from Bethesda to DC (National Zoo) and then AFTER the 12 miles run, we get to walk up a ginormous hill thru the Zoo to get to the metro station to get back to our cars. OMG, I'm gonna have to pack some GU with caffeine to get thru it....
ETA: we ran over 12 miles and with the final 1 mile walking uphill, we did a total of 13.16 miles!!

I did a 10k this morning and ran the whole thing!! WOOT!!! Man it was tough though - it was about 75* and the 1/2- 1 mile there was zero breeze, even though we were on the Gulf. I did it though! I don't know what my official time was (I can never read those things) ... it says my "split" was 1:01:31 and my finish was 1:12: 19, pace 11:39. My runkeeper app had me at a 10:33 pace. Regardless... I have never run 6 miles at ANY pace, always walked some.
You go girl!!!

Took a rest day yesterday
Today I hit the TM and did 4.5 miles - I ran about 85% of it with some short walking intervals. Felt good.
