How do I stop the Bounce

Recently I have started the C25K thing on the treadmill at the gym, mind you I have never ran a day in my life, but now have it stuck in my head that it's a good idea to run instead of walk on the evil treadmill.

I got some decent (not great) running shoes, compression leggings and a sports bra that gives me the unaboob.  EVERYTHING still bounces and jiggles and wiggles!!!!!  Worst is the lower abdominal area, and my butt I swear it hits my back as I run.  How do I stop this, it's down right painful, should I wait till I lose more to start running?  I'm not even close to goal yet to consider plastics ...... sorry dreaming there.

And is the treadmill suppose to shake?

I'm too embarrassed to ask any of the trainers at the gym cuz they are all either really buff guys (I would die if I had to talk to any of them) or really toned athletic women, who intimidate me, I don't know if they will understand the issue.

I run in spandex running tights and things and things are just jiggly..  Somedays I think I must be the only woman who doesnt care about the uniboob thing.  As long as the girls are on lockdown and dont move I dont care what it looks like.  :-)  Walking is great exercise if the running makes you uncomfortable.  You can increase the incline and get a great workout.  Also, make sure you are not jacking the speed up to high which can make things uncomfortable.  When I started I really thought I was going to bounce my water bottle out of the holder.  :-)   Do you feel the same way when you run outside?

I think the last time I ran outside was the mandatory 1 mile in High School gym class.

I normally walk at a 3-3.4, and the 1 min jogging bursts I only go up to a 4-4.5 anything faster then that and I feel like I can't keep up.  I just get really bored with the walking even with music or TV, the jogging burst break it up.

The compression leggings I got feel as though I am poured into them, there is no hiding the dimples.  So, I don't think I could get anything tighter to hold everything in.

Tonight I tried to discreetly watch the ppl running on the treadmill and noticed most of them do a heel to toe step when they run, were I tend to run toe to heel, would it make a difference?  Does it matter what part of your foot hits first?

I was fortunate enough to have plastics but prior - I had no pproblems stuffing all my rolls into some tight sspandex and hitting tthe gym. At some point, exercise trumps vanity.  And if people want to stare, let them. That was my philosophy.

Even after i got a breast lift, implants and super ccompression sports bra - my boobs still bounce. I even tthought about duct tape tonight :-p

my treadmill usually shakes - if I run too fast, I worry more about the TM than I do me lol.

Great job with starting the running addiction :)

Sorry for the typos - its hard to use my phone.

I've been in your shoes!  After my plastics, I had to wear Spanx for a while, and I had to wear them when I was running in the beginning.  Running in Spanx really helped with the movement of my skin.  So, you could try that.  I wear the super higher power panty, and it goes under your clothes.

I just bought the VSX sports bra by Victorias Secret.  It is, by far, the best one I've ever worn.  It has molded cups with underwire. I do need to mention that I've had a breast lift though, so I don't still have the skin.

Treadmills are gonna shake a bit when you run on them.  Even when it is a quality running treadmill, there will be some shake.

Enjoy your running!  I NEVER thought I'd be a runner, but I really look forward to that me time.

I warm up on the treadmill before I do the weights and it is all dudes at my gym. My lower tummy slaps to the rhythm of my feet hitting the treadmill. I notice it but i doubt anyone else does. I wear spandex long shorts under my sweatpants and everyday i tell myself tomorrow I will not wear the sweats, but I am too chicken.

The men are more interested in my chest. They seem much more mesmerized with that than my fat belly. Men are so weird!

If you are having pain when you run, I would switch to a walk and up the arch on the treadmill. Walking fast uphill is an amazing work-out.

Good Luck!

Compression clothes, and a belt.  You know those stupid weight loss belts that are basically a big rubber stap.  They used to sell them to help you lose weight.   They don't work worth a darn for that, but they do hold the belly in place.

You will sweat like someone tried to drown you where this thing is covering, but it really holds the belly in place.  Make sure you are keeping up on your fluids because of how much you will be sweating.  I put on an under armor shirt, then this thing over the top and a light weight tech t-shirt over the top to cover my compression gear.

The first time you do something - It's going to be a personal record!
