Saturday workouts!!! ( or races or training or whatever!!)
I did "farm" chores All. Day. Long. - repairing existing chicken pens, building 1/2 of a new one, carting 2 bales of straw, carrying 4gal buckets of warm water to the horses..... did errands, helped my mom, changed her sheets, etc
Last night when I got off work at 0100 I went to the gym to do 6 miles on the treadmill. The first 1/2 mile was my usual "I'm gonna die" and then, for the first time since I started running earlier this year, I found a groove with my pace and breathing and I cruised for a little over a mile. Then the "urge" hit and I had to leave the treadmill. And despite that break, I felt like my guts were ripping apart inside of me. I did a fast walk uphill for a while and just had to give up... I was in agony.
Ticked me off. But at least I found a way to count out my rhythm and hopefully it will continue to work
Today is cardio so I plan to work on my jump rope skills (or lack of )
