What a Difference a Year Makes
First, happy holidays everyone!
I was reflecting today, as people often do on this day, and I realized last Christmas I weighed 250 lbs, and was just starting to exercise, by walking 2-3 miles at a 18 min pace. Well I got a Garmin Forerunner 210 today, took it for a test drive, did a 5k at a 10:04 pace! I now weigh 135, work with horses again and all around my life is so much different than last year. I love my family that has been so supportive of all the changes in the last year. And I LOVE my new body, extra skin and all.

Yeah on almost goal and the HM. I plan to do one this spring. I did the Army 10 miler and I feel like bumping up to a 1/2 shouldn't be too hard. Hoping to do a full marathon this year as well.

Yep... I was at 240lbs last year, and was excited about my 57:07 5k. Now I am at 170 and bound and determined to beat my current PR of 33:33. I've done 2 Sprint Tris, 2 10ks, training for a major 15k here locally (Double Bridge Run Pensacola -y'all should come!!!) and this Friday I am registering for a half marathon!
I, too, have horses again and spent yesterday having a jump rope contest with my 17yr old nephew (he smoked me). Good times!!
That's awesome! I know you'll beat that 33:33 in no time. Let us know when you do.
