Walking
Does anyone know if walking30 minutes a day will help me loose weight if not what would you recommend for exercising
i was just surfing the net and found to come across an article saying that a regular work out for 30 minutes would add an extra day in your life. Let it be like that but we all know that a work out would definitely spike up the level of "Endorphins" in your body which is good for our body on the whole. It re-invigorates the energy needed for the various functions in the body and thus aids much in life cycle of cells and in turn would benefit your body.

Walking is a good cardio exercise to lose the weight.
It is most recommended workout for the weight loss and fitness improvement.
If you run 30 minutes daily then you can easily lose your excess body weight.
You can definitely lose weight walking 30 minutes a day 6 days a week.
Walking was my gateway exercise! I went from never exercising in my 54 y/o life to finally getting on a treadmill for 5 minutes a day in my garage starting a month after WLS.
I moved to a track and got my endurance time to 20 minutes. With summer, came hot weather and I was forced indoors and started doing the Leslie Sansone DVD. I started with 1 mile and then switched to the 2 mile and did that for a month. I was so bored, but I kept at it until I saw a Zumba class was starting at my local community pool. I went and fell in love with the idea of taking classes in the water. I then joined a gym and now go everyday for an aerobics class. I eventually hired a personal trainer and incorporated weights with my aerobics and now cannot sit still and miss working out on the days I rest.
For me, all the things I feared were the things I ultimately love. I love a structured class with people, I love the gym and I love weight training at a gym with machines. In my old life, those were the things I feared the most. Now when I cannot get to the gym for some reason, I still do a Leslie Sansone DVD. The trick is consistence and not stopping. Make it a habit and you will be on the right track to losing the weight and keeping it off.
Blessings,
Sharon
