"The Day After" Workouts

 I missed 2 days working out, had one day of eating way way way too much ... today's workout seemed like the first one from July 2011.

 

rode bike to gym (about 3.8 miles); ABSolute Glutes class -
7 minute AMRAPs of 10 reps, 4 stations -  burpees, crab kicks, V w / 8lb med ball toss, mountain climbers

then plank jacks, bicycle kicks, jump lunges, squat jumps,

then 30 sec, x3  - plank, flutter kicks, low ab crunches, hold V

rode bike back home

Boy this board has gotten dead...I'm part of the blame...I just don't post like I use to.  What I do may not count as exercise...Not the hard core type.  Yesterday I had to work 8 hours (time and 1/2 which was OK).  I work security at a retirement center.  I had to walk about 8 miles during the 8 hours.  Not intense, but a work out for me at my age and with my health (heart). 

Today was a day off.  I put my bike in the back of my truck and drove to the local university.  Rode around for awhile.  Grabbed some reading and sunshine (it's about 70 today in California)...Then rode some more.  Tomorrow I work at a processing plant.  About 80 acres to walk or ride.  The cool thing is they have these 3 wheeled trikes.  Pretty cool to ride around on (except when it raining like last week).  At the end of the day I'm real tired no matter what location I'm at.  On my days off I like to run errands on my bike (shopping, bank, post office, coffee shop)  Just me...Brian

Friday is my rest day. :-)   I am off for  a10 miler this morning.

Lots of 5K's, 10K's., 4 1/2 Marathons, 3 Sprint Triathlon done. 2 Olympics and my  First IRONMAN 70.3 September 2013 and First Full Marathon Dec 2013  !!!!!

Friday was my rest day.... Between the Turkey Trot on Thursday & the Turkey Burnoff on Saturday, friday was the only rest day I really had.
