Friday Workout- I know you are out there!!

I managed about .75 in the pool using a variety of stroke.  I do great as long as I use my snorkel while I crawl.  I get breathless without it.  Any suggestions??

Lots of 5K's, 10K's., 4 1/2 Marathons, 3 Sprint Triathlon done. 2 Olympics and my  First IRONMAN 70.3 September 2013 and First Full Marathon Dec 2013  !!!!!

No suggestions on the swim. I call my style of swimming "not drowning with slight forward progress."

But I managed a 5 mile run in about 55 minutes with a slight wardrobe malfunction being discovered at the end of my jaunt .

LOL, Michele, we apparently swim the same way. . 5 in 55 is pretty awesome in my book. And I just have to ask......what was the malfunction?

Well, like a bunch of women, I've lost a lot of weight on the top half of my body. I'm also pretty frugal and I hate shop so I've been making do with my sports bras, doubling up on some that I bought from Target, I think. My "girls" basically fell out of the bottom of my sports bra. Totally covered up but I definitely tell something weird was going on in my shirt when I looked in the mirror. Thankfully I don't encounter much foot or vehicle traffic on my run so hopefully I didn't look a weirdo to too many of my neighbors :).

Time to shop for something that fits properly though!

20 sec work 10 sec rest 32 rounds (16 minutes )
TM @ 5.5, 6.0, 6.5 , 7.0, 7.5 and 9.0

 Then stations 30 sec work 10 sec transition. 5 rounds with 30 sec rest in between

Only did a mile and pace sucked (11 min/mile) - - I'm gonna say it was intentional, as part of our Half-Marathon taper. Yeah. That's it. The taper.
