Monday Workouts

Thanks SOOO Much to our veterans, first of all.  Wow... what an honor to live in a country with folks like those in our military!

Today my trainer was off (we work at a financial institution) but I still had to work, so I did

25 min interval on elliptical, 45lb bench press (3 sets 12 reps) 75lb weighted squats on the smith machine and then 10 minute interval on the TM  ... had to shower and get to work but I figured something was better than nothing.

4 mile run and core work out.  I had hoped to run a bit further, but it was getting dark fast!

 

Lots of 5K's, 10K's., 4 1/2 Marathons, 3 Sprint Triathlon done. 2 Olympics and my  First IRONMAN 70.3 September 2013 and First Full Marathon Dec 2013  !!!!!

I did a Veteran's Day 5k in 22:48, good enough for 2nd in my age group. Later on I also did a 1600 meter swim

20 minutes stair master

10 minutes walking on incline treadmill

1 hour spin class

 

Feels like a good leg punishing day.  They really got a good workout.

The first time you do something - It's going to be a personal record!

Great workouts! 

I am planning to go with my routine this week starting on Monday. 

30 min jog outdoor

Strength training - Upper body: Shoulder shrugs, dips, bicycle crunch, bent over row

lower body: squats (butt workout)

another cardio: 30 minutes treadmill - brisk walk (inclined)
