I ran 5.5 miles in just under an hour.

I've fully made the switch from running on a treadmill to running outside. I don't know why I didn't do it earlier. There was absolutely no reason for me to feel self conscious running in the "public eye."

There was a time i refused to run outside too - I had a whole list of weird excuses. And then once I started running outside, I'd rather shoot myself then even think about the treadmill.

Because of my knees I have been reading a lot about ITB issues and there are articles that state running on a treadmill or even a flat paved surface can contribute to the problem.  I am going to try running trails instead and see if it makes a difference.  I can't get more than 5 minutes on a TM now   :(

Wow! This is just amazing. I must say you are doing a really great. The amount of time and potential you are giving towards your health is commendable. I am yet to see someone who is so much focused.

Great Going!
