Eating before early AM workouts?
I have lots of workout DVDs that I've used in the past (Turbo Jam, Turbo Fire, Insanity, P90, P90X, Zumba...) and I will continue using them since joining a local gym isn't in my budget now.
Now, I plan on working out at 5am but my problem is what can I eat beforehand?
Before WLS, I would just workout without eating but since I'm eating so little as it is now (and some of the workouts are high intensity), I'm afraid my blood sugar will plummit and I'll get sick.
Does anyone else workout very early in the morning? If so, do you eat something small and then wait before you workout? Or do you not eat?

Unless you are training hard for something specific and going to be working out for more than an hour, and are trying to improve performance - i dont think you need to eat before hand unless you actually start having problems. If that's the case, maybe a piece of light fruit or something.

just wanted to add that I never started doing that UNTIL I reached a normal BMI, while I still had fat to lose I did nothing at all.
