Shaking after workout - OK? Normal? Anyone?
I've been really pushing myself lately. I've taken up jogging, which I totally love and totally can't believe that I love. :) This week, I've been pushing myself to go further, faster (although my jogs are still only 40 minutes long - I just go even faster now.)
I've had times where I feel like I might throw-up by the end. But... it passes, and I think that's OK. But the last few days I've been really shaking after my workout. Like even for 30 minutes or more afterwards, my fingers are still shaking.
Is this a low blood sugar thing? Or an "I'm pushing too hard" thing? Or does it just come with the territory for those that really push hard in their workouts. I do try to stay hydrated, but I sweat a TON so I suppose it might be dehydration.
Any ideas or experiences to share? Thanks!!

I have had that happen. Make sure you are hydrated before exercising and if you sweat a lot get some electrolytes in as well. Also fuel up - I usually have 1/2 banana and peanut butter, sometimes on ww bread. If I workout intensely for 45 minutes or more I have a snack after or something during if I am going further. I don't know anything about sleeves as far as sugar sensitivity, but my post-workout snack is generally a Tbs of peanut butter with 1/2 Tbs of local honey or 8oz of low fat chocolate milk.
