 It seems like today's the day to compete in DC - Best Buddies, another breast cancer event, Army 10 miler tomorrow- and the traffic reflected it! We did our CCFA Team Challenge Half-Marathon training today and I did my furthest running ever! 9.57 miles in 1:45:43. Started too fast so my last couple miles were torture but I tried out a Clif Block at mid-point and didn't dump! Yipee!

It is driving me crazy but gonna rest today and tomorrow. Well, might do something tomorrow night after work.

I feel ya on that! It drove my coaches crazy that I wouldn't really take rest days but I've forced myself to and it's really paying off in improving my pace & endurance.

 Looking back, I think I would have reached a breaking point had I tried to workout yesterday.  I slept around 10hrs Friday night, napped most of the day saturday (the most energy I used was making lunch for my folks and carving pumpkins with friends). Then I slept around 10hrs last night and napped today!!

 9 miles today (9.2 on the new Garmin, Thanks to my moms early Bday present).   Felt really great.  I am so loving this weather!!
Sunday is my rest day!

 It seems to be!  I did 9 last week and was supposed to do 7 today, but it was BEAUTIFUL outside and there was a great group of folks running, so I just ran for the enjoyment of it.   LOL, that is something I never thought I would do!!!

 Two hour tennis match this morning. Honey do list the rest of the day, so tomorrow I will hit exer4cise harder. Going for a run tomorrow.
