Getting Excited!
The Army 10 miler is on Sunday. I ran a trial run this past Sunday and did it in 1:53:09, so I'm really hoping I can take a fair few minutes off that for the actual run time. We'll see. Anyone else going?

Yeah, its a person challenge
Really didn't want to go up there, but my mom won't leave me alone until I do (to see her granddaughters, not so much to see me) so Thanksgiving break or Christmas break it is, and I want to get it over it so we can have a nice Christmas at home. Joel deployed last week, but my best friend lives with us and she's going with us so it shouldn't be too much torture.

Well we'll be coming back Friday night so if you're still in town that weekend I can see what we can do. My husband is always up for a trip to Fractured Prune (custom donuts) so talking him into a trip to Frederick isn't difficult.

We are getting there the Tuesday before Thanksgiving and leaving Saturday, so looks like we'll switch places and still be nowhere near each other.
Athens is a nice little town. I did a tri there with Paul and Bill back in March, its about 5 hours from here.

I think we have been sucked into the vortex that is Washington DC. I will be very surprised if we leave anytime soon. Of course with Artie's work schedule we very well could not end up going anywhere so I'll let you know. I made the plans to go to GA when Artie was supposed to deploy in Sep. but we decided to still go even though he's staying.
