Working Out, Food and Weight Loss
I am 13mths out from RNY. I've lost a total of about 180lbs (bounces around some).
My training you guys see here... but:
Sunday - Triathlong group training - Gulf swims, bike no less than 10miles, walk / run no less than 2
Monday - 45 min Spinnerval - Spin bike combined with circuit training
Tuesday - 1hr with PT
Wed - has been a rest day as a rule
Thurs - Spin class (30min)
Fri - 1hr with PT, usually swim / bike and / or run in the evening
Sat - swim, bike , run or 5k races
I also have a small hobby "farm" with horses, chickens, rabbits and what used to be a garden (don't have time to fool with it like I want to).
As a rule, my lighter days I average about 1500-1600 calories. My harder days (Sun, Tues, Fri) I may go as high as 2000 - 2200. I try to limit my carbs (after subtracting fiber) to between 80-110g.
I have never hit a stall or plateau. My weight went to 167 last month, and bounced back to 175 where I seem to pretty much stay.
After that novel.... here are my questions:
- would you vote this as a stall, or as being done? (I am ok either way, actually)
If a stall, do you think it could be caused by actually working out too much (as in, for the honeymoon phase, not "too much" literally)?
Should I go back to PT on Tues / Fri and just spin on Monday and Thursday after my Tri training finishes? That way I can back my calories down and hopefully not be SOO stinking hungry all the time?
My next goal is to do a 10k. (registered for Oct 13 I believe?)

I have no answers but wanted to commiserate. My training is no where near as crazy as yours but Im stalled big time...or, I think I am. Ive been stuck between 165-172 for over a month and Im only 9 months out. I still typically eat 800-1000 cals per day, some days I get closer to 1200 but never over. Im afraid Im done losing!
I would talk to your NUT about increasing your calories. At about 9 months is when mine moved me up to 1500 cals. I have never stalled ****il now.... if indeed this is a stall instead of where my body is happy staying) so I don't recognize one when I see it lol
I talked to my trainer some today and I am going to do 4 1/2 days of working out (Mon,Tue, Th, Fri and Sat... Mon and Th aren't TOO bad) and then rest days on Wed and Sun. Then in November we are going to have a couple of "trash the legs" months. I am thinking about attempting our Double Bridge Run (huge run event, 15k, 2 big bridges) and a reverse Tri in Feb (bike and run very hilly , especially for Florida!) so I want to get my legs cranking,
I'll see what happens in October with the little bit lighter schedule. Regardless, November brings back teh big time!
Good luck to ya!

I am 26 years of age and before 2 years my weight was 90 Kg. I was very tensed and wanted to reduce my weight. I am appointed a traniee for my health care which suggest me some exercises, what food should be eaten and every thing to reduce my health. Now in two years I have lose 15 kg. Now I am little bit happier.
