OK, so it's a little premature. By 3 months. But I just met with my NUT to discuss how to do maintenence AND training for the Half, so I felt inspired. She gave me a lot of suggestions of what to eat normally (which I've been doing very well with), and what things I need to add as my training increases. So this is already in my suitcase because I'm so excited!!!

And here we are on Training Day yesterday am, in our Team Challenge gear:

You look great!!
My sprint distance Tri is first Saturday in October, then my next goal is a 10k, and I will top out at a half. I think I will get to that point, anyway!

I think "doing it 3 ways" is pretty awesome!! But striving onward and upward keeps us from sliding backwards, right?

I have been trying out different gels to make sure I can tolerate them.  The GU chocolate and peanut butter are my favorite.  I also like the hammer gel Montana huckleberry.   The pouch does NOT like the expresso ones, which is wierd because I drink coffee like a fiend.  After mile 4 I use about 1 an hour.  My 1/2 is in 2 weeks.  I also plan on running with my own G2. Gatorade and I dont get along.  I can ge****er on the course.  I carry my own water when I run now, so it shouldnt be that different.  I am so excited about this!!  Hope your training is fun in injury free!!!  Cant wait to hear how it goes!!
