Saturday/Sunday workouts
I didn't see a post for Saturday - I took a rest day.
This morning I did a 5.5 mile run that felt great and ran my fastest mile and 5K split.

Woohoo for you, speed demon!
I don't know what the hell I was thinking, running 3 days in a row. I basically took two weeks off from running (week 1 I had a cold, week 2 I got a wicked stomach bug and didn't eat for 3 days) and it has totally tanked my endurance. I ran 2 miles Friday, 2 1/2 yesterday and when I went out today got like half a mile in and just felt drained. I ran about 1 1/2 miles today but ran unplugged because the Garmin was dead...I definitely prefer running with it, I need stats!
I'm nervous because I'm doing an intro session of CrossFit tomorrow. And I have a 4 mile race on Labor Day that I'm pretty sure will suck since my endurance/speed has suffered so much in just a short two weeks.

Hopefully you are feeling better! Let me know how you like CrossFit - I want to do something like that once I heal from PS at the end of the year.

Today I volunteered at my Sons first Tri. he placed 96th over all out of a feild of 300 not bad for doing the ride on a BMX when kids were on MTN bikes and some were riding youth roadies. He did good on the swim and is a good runner anyways. Was awesome seeing him cross the finish.
