First 1/2 marathon group training

We had a really good training today, about 3.5 miles on the Custis Trail in Alexandra VA. I was pretty proud of myself for doing the whole thing with good time & running for the great majority of the time. I got lots of compliments & encouragement from our team coaches and it was so fun to run with others and have conversations (instead of my usual isolation!). I felt bad that my husband really couldn't keep up and didn't do more than a mile or two, but since he'd been skinny & active most of his life, he'll easily get that back with a little training & effort.
I'm thinking of doing another long run tomorrow.....I kept fantasizing about running while I was seeing my clients this afternoon! This really is my new addiction....

It is addicting. I definitely get a runner's high.  Just remember the most important part of the training will probably be resting!  Dont push too hard to quick because you might burn out or hurt yourself.

Congrats on a great run!!
