Okay I am going to try and post a pic of me and my bike. I have already made some changes to the bike to better suit me but this is the very first day with the bike back about two months ago. I am riding in charity rides for now... my first one is coming up on Sept. 8th in Maine. It will be a 25 mile ride. It is to benefit the bike trail they are making from Maine/Canada border to Key West Florida!
Well I am posting pic challenged.... but I do have pics on my profile :-)
I volunteered for the Pan Mass Challenge, which is in Massachusetts. Next year I will be riding the first leg of the ride which is Strubridge to Bourne which is 111 miles. The first 50 miles are a bit hilly... okay a lot hilly.... but the second 50 I've been told is easier... It is an awesome bike a thon and 100 percent of the money raised goes to cancer research through Dana Farber and the Jimmy Fund in Boston. It was amazing to be there when they took off this year!! Can't wait for my turn!!
Any tips on nutrition and long rides would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks!!
