I feel so silly but...

I never liked gym class, so I was always in Band class. With this being said, I never learned how to jog/run.
This is a serious question. I am wondering, is there an actual web-site that could teach me how to run?
When I run, I feel like my arms and hands should be doing something rather than hanging there in front of me and all balled up like a T-Rex! lol I just want to learn how to get "my stride."
I do enjoy running/jogging but I look like Elaine from Seinfeld when she is dancing!
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
BTW, I do have a treadmill, but I would much rather be outside enjoying the cool mornings than being stuck in my basement.

I dont think gym class ever taught proper running form :-p
I googled it and came up with some ideas -
http://running.about.com/od/howtorun/tp/runningform.htm
I never really thought about form/posture until I start running around 2-3 miles and I noticed my back and neck/shoulders ached at the end of the run, and then I realized I was running slumped over, so now every once in a while I just pay attention. I think your body will tell you (ie pain/soreness/aches) if something needs to be adjusted.
Congrats on getting started - I was always overweight/obese as a kid and missed out on all the physical activities, so now I really enjoy it.
