TGIF workouts :)
Hi and happy Friday to you too.
Today, I am on beginning my fourth week of commitment. I started out walking a mile taking 45 minutes a day and now I am up to (starting today) walking 5 miles.
So, for today so far...I took a very brisk 2 mile am walk using my arms the entire time, I just complete an afternoon mile, and later I will do mile 4 and 5.
I am getting an average of about a 20 minute mile. Not the greatest record, but I am moving and staying commited.
I don't have a tread mill, but I have 20 acres of hunting ATV trails in my back yard. I tackle those hills with all the strength I can muster. The trails are amazing and every day is something different. IT is quite a challenge.
trainer workout
4min warm up on elliptical, then 6 rounds of 2min steady resistance, steady fast pace (not quite a sprint)
4 stations, 30sec, 6 rounds... only pausing for a sip of water
bicep curl (10lb) - static, bottom halves, top halves, full curls
bent over row / reverse fly -15lb
med ball slam - 12lb
med ball pushups
