Restriction after exercise

Is is just me or is the restriction way tighter after exercise?  I have noticed lately after my morning workouts, that my restriction is way tighter when eating lunch.  I can usually eat a 3 oz portion of protein with a couple tbsp of veggies but after a workout I find I can barely eat 2 oz protein forget eating any veggies.  Is this normal? Just a side effect of abs contracted?

I cant see how ab muscles would impact stomach capacity. But, i know for me, after work out (and especially abs haha) - i have almost no appetite and i definitely feel satisfied eating smaller amounts, so it's probably all a mental thing. When I have sore abs, the last thing I want is to eat :-p

Um, no.  Not for me.  I could eat a whole cow after a really intense workout!!

If I do endurance I have little to no appetite most of the day.  54 mile ride Saturday and I don't think I really ate anything substantial until 8-10 hours later.  Now if I run a 5k all out then I will eat anything in site.  I don't think it is restriction as much as it is our bodies chemistry kicking in differently.

The only time i have felt more restriction than usual has been after my surgery when i had my hernia repair....but I knew twas due to the swelling after surgery combined with my guts being put back into my abdominal cavity... which more than likely until healed pushed up against my stomach.

I've been noticing this the last couple of weeks as well! I'm four months out, so I'm not sure if mine is for the same reason as yours or not... but good to know I'm not alone in this.
