This morning was Tri training.  I ran late because I was pulled over for suspicion of drunk driving.  I haven't had an alcoholic drink in my life  lol

We had to swim in the sound because of rough surf in the Gulf, so we walked over and then:
swam 100yds, walked back in the sand 100yds, swam another 100, walked back.   Time was up so then we walked back to the Gulf.
Bike was supposed to be 12 miles but Runkeeper said it was 11.23.
Walked / jogged 2.12 miles in 28 min....

Maybe a run if I finish up some work in time. I probably will after being inspired by watching ironman coverage.

My fingers are getting a work out clicking refresh watching Andrew's splits :)

ETA: after a little pep talk from Paul, I ate some sugar and got in a 6 mile run/walk in 1:15.

Walked 1 mile and ran 5 miles. First time I went 5 miles since my ps in Feb. Felt good!

Well, my kids told me that since I'm having a big birthday this week that I'm no longer middle aged but just plain old! That was so nice of them!! I'm thinking the only good thing about turning 50 is that I can now move up an age bracket when running a 5k. This means I will be the baby in my age group and I should beat some of those old ladies, okay maybe one!!!

10 mile run one the greenway.

Not my best run ever in fact it pretty much sucked.  I was ready to bag it after the first mile.  Mentaly I just wasn't in it with everything that I have going on in my personal life, but when I wanted to quit I would tell myself after the next mile and just kept going.  I did walk some and really don't know how long it took me and really doesn't matter.
