200 mile relay race
These seem to be all the rage in running adventures lately (besides the mud runs and other obstacle/military style courses).
So this weekend I'm joining the trend and "racing" across Massachusetts with 11 other people, some I know, some I don't. We will have 2 15 passenger vans to cart us around when it's not our turn to run. We travel non-stop until the 200 miles are complete, each runner runs 3 legs totaling about 15 miles each. I'm running in the #11 position, with John running "anchor".
Wish us luck! Nothing like sleep deprivation and close quarters to make up for my complete lack of training!!
I'll be sure to report back what the experience is like.

My run club does the Ragnar Great River, which is from Winona to Minneapolis, MN. It sounds like so much fun. They are also doing the Ragnar Florida Keys, which would be beautiful.
Sadly, both events conflict with half-marathons I already have on my calendar, so I am not able to participate this year. I'll be glad to hear about your experience.
