Hydration Belts
Ok so I'm only running 3-4 miles but I should be up to 6 in another 2-3 weeks. And right now when I'm running on the street I have no way to ge****er in. Since I'm so early out from surgery my tummy is VERY sensitive to me drinking anything more than a small mouthfull. Today, I did my 3 miles, went to take a drink when I got home and promptly threw it all back up. So, I think I need a way to take the water with me so I can drink little bits throughout my runs. This is what I do when I have to do the treadmill and it works fine.
My question is I'm still pretty big at 199 lbs and I worry that a hydration belt won't fit. Do you know of any made for the more rotund? I do have a Camelback but I don't like the way it wiggles on my back I find it annoying.

i carry it in my hand. They make special handheld bottles like this:

I've also been known to just carry any old bottle with me.

Can't do that. Tried it and well it's just weird! My right hand cramps up then my left one gets tired. I'm actually jealous of you! Wish I could do it.

I did it for a year, and now I do it training long runs if I have to, but I prefer not to carry anything now. it does become a nuisance.

This is similar to the one I have
http://www.amazon.com/CamelBak-Delaney-Plus-Aurora-Pink/dp/B 0067QDB7U/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1337280944&sr=8-3
It has a couple spots where you can extend the straps--maybe you can find some details on how far it extends............
The water bottle on mine is actually in the back...my only complaint is it is hot with it around my waist.

Oh I like that one. I also looked at this one:
www.amazon.com/Nathan-Waistpack-10-Ounce-Nutrition-Flasks/dp /B000NHLHFW/ref=pd_rhf_ee_p_t_1
Does the one big one rather than two smaller ones pull you to one side, I tend to lean right (I'm working on it) so maybe if I put it on the left it would help me straighten out ;)
This may be one of those things where I just spend $$ until I find what works. Hopefully I'll be able to resell them!
