Another "My First 5k" post
Im set for my first 5k on Saturday.
Things have been crazy. Ive been sick and struggling with getting meds under control. I havent been training (running) as much, but Ive still been working out with the trainer. My energy level has just been blah. But hopefully it will be under control very soon.
Im still going to do my 5k since its billed as a race/fun run/ walk. I figure I'll just do my best and my goal is to just finish and hopefully not be dead last. I know I wont run the whole thing.
Check in starts at 0700, but the race doesnt start until 0930. How early should I get there? 0830?
for a small race, will they have drinks along the way? Should I take my own? ugh...I know I should have all of this planned already.
Im just hitting freak out mode. You think I could walk 60 miles, I can handle a 5k! I wish I wasnt doing this by myself!
There was one water stop on my race. But they should tell you on their website (if they have one) whether there will be one or not.
