Extensor tendinitis experiences?

I have a podiatrist appt early Tuesday but until then I'm freaking...

The top of my right foot is swollen and it hurts when I walk on it (but not any other time). My google diagnosis is extensor tendinitis-- anyone else dealt with this?? I'm freaking out bc I can't stay out of the gym for a few weeks for it heal- WTH???

I think Im going to have to break down and make an appointment myself :(

I went yesterday afternoon-- left foot is small plantars wart which he froze and I have medicine for it. No biggie.

The right? No tendinitis. Ganglion cyst on the tendon!! For now I gotta get a tongue pad and and avoid further irritation.
