Day 2, Death by Exercise

Ok, learning a new contact sport like Krav Maga is not enough, no sirree!!

What I should do is start training for a 5k!!

Elbow soreness from the Krav punches pretty much gone today, though it was sore as heck last night and a bit this morning.  Perhaps I just don’t notice it over the screaming from my thighs and calves?

Downloaded and installed the Couch to 5k app, where the lady very politely tells you “Ok, start running", she never mentions how long, or why or who is chasing you.

COMMERCIAL BREAK for this game… hoping it comes to Android soon, looks pretty fun IF you are gonna die by exercise neway

So… no zombies in sight, I take off, first minute was not too bad… gasping for breathe and she politely tells me, “Ok, good job, you can start walking"… wow, hey this is not too bad as I gasp for air, stumbling my way down the path.

Then about 3 seconds later (90 seconds supposedly went by) “Ok, start running….." WTHeck?  After my second stint, I pull the phone out thinking surely this workout is nearly over.

Runs, 2/8, and 11 seconds to go before…."Ok, start running" OMG!!!!

Somehow I made it, though my running towards the end looked more like falling forward slowly

Sam….remembers now why obesity was so great…?     :)
