Gym tonight. Treadmill. I usually do hill intervals, but since Ive been inspired to do this 5k AND Im running (so you could call it) in bootcamp, I think I'll throw some running in instead.

We do longer runs and sprints in class. I do OK with the sprints, but my lungs just arent ready for the longer runs. Good thing I quit smoking two years ago!

I'll follow this with upper body weights.

Any tips on working my lungs? I guess I just have to build up by running.

hour with the PT
We did AMRAPs for 30 minutes, 3 stations (reverse fly, thrusters w/ resistance band, pushups) of 10 reps with 1 minute of treadmill speed intervals in between. I started at 4.5 and by the end of the workout I was at 5.5. .... go me!!! I did 9 rounds

Then we did shuffles on the treadmill, 2min each side, 2.7 speed, then hill intervals.

Good stuff

Rode my bike to the flea market...walked around and got a massage.  Rode to the coffee shop and back.  Rode to the high school and watched a track meet and freshman baseball game.  About 10 miles total over the day.  Also weedeated and mowed some of the lawn.  It hit about 70 today in Northern California!!
Tommorow I will be doing a workout...The treadmill at the hospital.  I think it starts at a 2% grade, then it gets harder and harder till you get your pulse way up there.   We'll see how my ticker is...I've had 2 heart attacks over the years...
