Running tights/capris: commando or not?

After all those years of having thighs that rub together (and they mostly don't, but still kind of do) I don't think I could do baggy shorts.. just makes me feel like they'll ride up in between my thighs..

I ordered two pairs of pearl izumi running knickers that are supposed to be compression (though the reviews on amazon had differing opinions on the level of compression that was actually there)

I wear compression garments to avoid the painful jiggles of the wiggly bits.

Commando baby!  I wear either the tight fitting shorts or capris, or long running pants (the ones with spandex).....or now that it is warm, running skirts which have a built in "panty"......I can't stand thongs or panties crawling up my butt when I'm running!

That was my thought exactly.. don't want the distraction of wandering panties and if I can avoid panty lines then my droopy butt doesn't look as bad (plus of course a spandex tight helps in that regard anyway)

oooooohhhhh, so this is where the commando comment from the daily workout post came from.  at least i wasn't going crazy.

for me, i wear compression underwear under my running shorts or tri-shorts if i'm biking, keeps me all in place (including the twig and berries) so i'm not so uncomfortable flapping around when running.
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.

I wear panties, but then I'm still mostly walking. But I don't think my compression capries would be comfortable without. And frankly, no one is going to be looking at panty lines. And this might be a little TMI, but I like to wear a pad incase the porto-potty isn't available and I don't always have the strongest bladder. Of course, you're just doing a 5K, but it's saved me in those 13.1 miles.

Late to the party to post, but "commando". I wear 2xu Tri shorts most of the time running. For races I bought a 2xu compression one piece. For swimming I bought jammers, and for biking have the longer spandex shorts.

My family still can't believe I go out in spandex, but OH I LOOK SO GOOD!!! LMAO
