Running tights/capris: commando or not?
Ok, so.. when I wear bike shorts/capris, I never wear underwear with them to avoid the rubbing of seams, etc.. aside from the added bulk.
I'm wondering if people do the same for running tights/capris -- or no because there isn't a chamois. I don't want panty lines, or wedgies.. so I could go with a thong, but I think I'd rather just do nothing at all.. but I'm just not sure since there isn't even a little cotton chamois in the tights.

LOL - I always wear underwear - no matter what. Something about commando just seems unladylike to me. I can hear my mom in my head..........

Bike short, since they have a chamois, I go commando
Since running tights and capris don't have that, I wear under armour panties with them. If the tights and capris are not compression I will get wedgies, so I make sure I buy the compression ones to prevent that from happening. I learned that the hard way after buying a bunch of different brand tights, compression was the solution.

Same here with the biking shorts, nothing under them, you don't want to cause any rubbing issues.
When running if I am using running shorts, lots of them have a liner in them almost like a swim trunk, so again I don't wear anything with these.
The other issue is the moisture wicking affect. If you are using cotton undergarments, they are going to soak up any sweat and not wick it away like the tech material will.
The part about my running tights that I don't like has to do with the extra skin, it's very visible with those running tights and it also a good indicator of ones religion so with those I will often wear shorts over them. I know it looks dorky but I think that is a better fashion choice than going with the Borat look, or the

I either go with some kind of wicking thong or commando. I hate panty lines. you just want to make sure if you are going commando that you avoid camel toe.
I have gotten more into the baggy running short with built in panty/liner, so that takes care of itself.
