I ran my first race since June.  The time was awful but it was really good getting back out there.  I debated signing up or running as a bandit.  $25 is usually my limit for a 5K but I sucked it up and paid the $30.  Should have run as a bandit even though the corn beef sandwich was phenominal!

What are yu up to today?

Celebrate Life Half Marathon for me. Its about the hardest half marathon I do, with a killer hill right in mile one that just completely throws off race strategy. My hamstrings and IT acted up bad, and then the hills just wrecked my calves. I feel worse right now than after any race. I did beat my time from last year on this course by a bit over a minute, which is cool. Was awesome weather and awesome views throughout the hills.

Well Scott, I ran eight miles this morning, but decided that my quality of runs is starting to suffer with trying to run every day. So tomorrow the streak started on Nov. 23rd comes to an end. I'll leave it to the younger guys to attempt. Tomorrow I will get to the gym and a spinning class to keep from getting too down.

Rob:
Awesome job!  You did it for 4 months so you have proven the intent of a streak which is determination and consistancy.  The best part is that you are walking away on your terms.  Congrats.

Ran 4.18m this morning(don't want to short myself that .18...). Weather was beautiful. Left knee started hurting at mile 3 but after a quick walk break I was able to get in the rest of my run.
