It depends on what your physician says. My physician wanted me walking at 30 minutes a day at first. After I got my staples out (2 weeks postop) I started doing walk away the pounds DVDs for 15 minutes and walking. I had to start out slowly with my aerobics finally working my way back to 45 minutes of aerobics then to an hour.
