 50 mile bike ride with some serious hills that I was not prepared for - but I survived. 

I decided to make today an experimental day - realized I love starbucks pre-made mocha drinks and hammer espresso gel. Those really made a difference. Gatorade was an epic fail and did not sit well with me, and GU gels and weirdly shot blocks didn't sit well with my stomach. Its the first time ive had any issues with the shot blocks so it might have just been a combination of the gatorade but what ever it was, I had major stomach cramping.

The end of a recovery week comes to an end tonight. Ironman ramp up begins tomorrow!!! BRING IT!!! I will get ironman #4 & #5 this year...

hit the 2 hour endurance spin class @ the gym today....  pretty brutal last set, but glad i went.  i know somebody who's going to sleep well tonight!
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

3 miles of walking and jogging with the Local WLS group.
Trying to get some of the local people active. 

Followed up by a 30 mile bike ride with a couple friends.

It was beautiful weather and both events were very enjoyable.

The first time you do something - It's going to be a personal record!
