Monday workouts

am never sure how to quantify my "workouts" on days like this.
I unloaded a wheelbarrow (100lbs) of compost and spread it in 3 small garden plots, then tilled said spots. THen I cleaned out the barn - 2 stalls and the alleyway. The fill dirt I use in the barn is in a big pile that has turned to a boulder, so I used a log splitter to get it started and then moved 3 wheelbarrows of dirt to the barn (about 30yrd or so away) and spread it in the stalls and alleyway. I fed the horses and moved a couple bales of hay to be handy at night.

I know there isn't any cardio there, so I need to do something. I will walk after work, probably not more than a mile though just because I don't like being out that late (after 1am) even with my big dog.

Continued the streak... 2 1/2 mile run outside on the icy roads this morning. My yaks are great at giving me enough traction not to slip on the open roads. Ten minutes of tabatas on the treadmill this evening, followed by a half-hour set of chest and neck exercises.

Worked overnight sunday night.  Left straight from work and made it to the gym for 30minutes on the treadmill.
I did the Hills interval setting...  I actually jogged for a total of 5 minutes, which is a first for me.  I jogged on the times when I wasnt at an incline.  Felt natural.  Didnt hurt anything.  Worked up a sweat, became winded, but it was a good winded .

Gonna try jogging a little bit more :)
