dude you do not need to wait until august to do a half IM.  You need to start looking for a late spring/ early summer event.  You're gonna be ready.

gonna call today's workout "treadmill-Stairmaster of death Brick".

Did about 2.8 miles at around a 7:45 min/mi at 0 elevation, followed by 2.1 miles in 20 minutes on the stairmaster of death using 1:45 intervals 1:1, and finished with a 3.1 mile run back on the tm in 28:30, using intervals with a .5 degree elevation (peaked at 6 min miles and a 165 HR).

Started with the idea of a light workout and left feeling the same, until I started driving home and realized I covered 8 miles in about an hour and 15 minutes or so. Not a bad workout. Rest day tomorrow to travel to Dallas... Wednesday morning I have a date with Big Dan at the gym!

You morning people!  I don't know if I'm envious, think you're nuts, or perhaps, both!

I'm heading to the gym very soon.  I will get on a bike until my butt can't take it anymore, and maybe some elliptical.  I forgot my headphones, so it should be interesting to hang in the cardio room with college students and whatever they put on the TV
