Total Dad Weekend (OT xp)
So not much in the way of workouts this weekend but here is a quick recap of what I did.
This Past weekend I had the joy of again being the type of Father I had always wanted to be. My oldest son is in the 4th Grade and a Weblos Scout in the Cub Scout program. For our pack this is a cool year as we send them to Space Camp in Huntsville AL for the weekend. Prior to RNY the thought of doing these things with him sent me into panic mode as I knew there would be little of the programs I would be able to do with him. WELL NOT NOW! Almost Everything he did I was right there with him doing it and typically one of the First parents in line forcing some of the less adventuous parents to step up!
The first item was called GForce this is a ride where they simulate 2Gs on the body. If any of you go to or had been to the carnivals it is essentially the machine where you go in and buckle to a pad on the wall and then they spin the whole machine until the pads slide up the tracks off the floor. I had a blast with this and am glad that at 2Gs I way a bit over 400 rather than the 700lbs I would have weighed at one point in my life. I also got to experience on this ride as a bonus what it feels like to be a partially melted person as I wasn't wearing compression garments and well the excess skin was pulled tight, like Joan Rivers' face .
Next up Multi Axis Trainer, WAY FREAKING COOL. This is the machine with the chair they belt you into that is in 3 sets of rings with their axis at various points. The motor spins the axis of the outer ring and gravity and body weight control everything else. Needless to say you will flip in directions you did not know existed! Prior to RNY not only would I have not wanted to go on this but I would have been about 100lbs to heavy to be allowed!
The meals were none to friendly with my diet but in my true fashion I had anticipated this and brought my own stuff.
Not only is this a weekend I will remember but one my Son will remember for many years.
Best part in 2 years I get to go back with my youngest son!

amazing! This is the kind of thing we all had this surgery for! (I hope it wasn't to look good naked, cuz most of us look hilarious...)
I have loved the cool things I have done that I couldn't/wouldn't have done before, such as rappelling off a cliff, zip-lining, roller-coasters.
I'm so glad your sons get to enjoy this new life with you! Lord knows what your daughter might drag you into! ;)
