Rock N Roll!
It was one year ago today that I had my RNY. And two days ago I ran my first marathon. :)
I did the Rock N Roll Arizona Marathon, and my time was extremely slow, but I finished! My goal was to finish without getting caught by the sag wagon, and I did it.

Congrats! There is no slow, there is just FINISHED!
Hope Rock N Roll treated you well - I loved my one brush with them last summer for a half.

Sorry about the traffic! LOL
I can relate to not walking out to the car. :) I had gotten to the point where I wouldn't get off the couch to get a bowl of chips -- that's what kids are for.
I started getting the urge to start working out to lose weight several years ago, but I was so heavy that I would throw my back out every time I started, so I gave up. The surgery gave me the boost I needed to get moving and keep moving without all that pressure of the weight straining my back. I used to take Tramadol every day for my back. Now I almost never take anything, just an occasional Tylenol.
