I can't get to a gym as much as I want... Does anyone do anything at home to work out that really helps them when they can't get to the gym or any tips on at home work outs?

I don't like the gym. I have an elliptical at home set up with a TV and dvds that I like to watch while I work out. I also got a great book on weight lifting for women, The Women's Home Workout Bible" by Brad Schoenfeld, which has pictures and everything you need to set up your home gym. I have free weights, started with 5lbs but bought a starter set for $50 at Big 5. Also a big exercise ball that I use instead of a rack. Also, for Hanukkah, my hubby got me the Zumba Extreme set of DVDs. You don't need a lot to start your home gym. Have fun.

Hate gyms-and only workout at home.

In my basement I have a running treadmill in front ot a TV, an elliptical, a nautilus weight machine that I never use, a pull up stand, full set of free weights and a large carpeted area in front of the TV where I do P90X.

I also run and hike-love getting outdoors as much as possible.
