Cycling advice

I'm relatively new to cycling - Ive only had my road bike since early December, but ive been riding consistently since then (and have been spinning for a while now and during the week).

My longest ride is 32 mi but i did a total of 60 miles over the weekend. There is a ride i'd like to do in mid Feb that is about 50 miles with some rollers. Would it be too ambitious to attempt a ride that long - it's about a month away?

Go for it!!! If its an organized ride, there will be aid stations every few miles you can stop and rehydrate and get a snack and rest for a minute. 32 is a great base, you can easily do another 18 if you can do 32, especially in another month and a half. Just make sure you are comfortable shifting into all the gears for the rollers. My first time riding rollers was during the ironman bike course, whoops! Had to give myself a crash course in hill shifting during my big race.

 Thankfully ive experienced a few rollers now - and I met an amazing woman who has taken me under her wing and taught me a lot of this stuff. I pretty much have had a coach riding next to me up the "hills" lol. 

I think I'll just go for it - gives me a reason to push hard for the next month, and what's the worse that can happen? I'm excited :)

I'm with Jillian- you got this!

Just keep adding 5-10 miles a week and you'll be just fine.

Hey we should do a EnF ride in Feb when you come up north!

Where I am from, the only rollers I have are in my exercise room.  I THINK I'm kinda jealous.  GO FOR IT!
