Hello everyone!
I'm so excited to report that I am the team captain for The fight for Air at the Carew Tower in Cincinnati! It's Feb 19 and I'm training. I'm up to 501 steps and I need to be able to do 804! WOW

To think that pre-op I could hardly climb two flights of stairs and now I'm at a whole new fitness level. I have Asthma- and been hospitalized 6 times. I have a pulmonologist and he usually keeps me well. My team is Team Jordan, for my co-workers son who died this past Sept from a sudden Asthma attack while playing in his backyard. It feels so good to be fit enough to do this for Jordan!

Yeah for me!

Wow that's great!!! What an inspiration you will be to everyone!
I use to climb the stairs at my works parking garage, I miss it , that's when I felt my strongest!!! Great for endurance!!!
But my knees didn't like it after a while!
Congratulations,
Keep us posted

Thanks! I may not be doing as good as I let on! LOL. I do get breathless on the stairs, and have to stop a good bit. There are 17 floors at my hospital, so I'm climbing there for now. I've also been "running" That is not as easy, I see you have ran some marathons and THAT is a true inspiration! How do your knees hold up to that?
I also have knee issues, but so far so good with that.
Your weight loss has been awesome- way to go!
