I'm back
Hey everybody. Sorry for the disappearing act, but i was on a 2 week business trip to Vienna and Moscow (which was pretty cool). When I was in Russia especially, it was hard to get online for anything other than communicating with my family or for work. I will tell you that training for a marathon/goofy while doing international travel really sucks. But i was able to squeeze in a 15 miler last weekend on a treadmill in the basement of the hotel. Not a fun way to spend a morning I can tell you. I was also able to put together 5 or 6 workouts out of 12 days of travel, which is about as good as I was expecting. I'm feeling pretty underprepared for goofy and will attempt to put in 19 tomorrow.

Ha! I wish I was as under-prepared as you! I haven't run since Oct 27th and haven't worked out since Nov 5th, not counting a 17 mile easy bike ride on Nov 19th.
I thought for sure I'd get through this weekend without a headache and be able to start running tomorrow or Monday but my kid's play today give me a good one (too much noise and talking starting about 10 am this morning and only stopping half an hour ago). Gah!
I'm hoping I can get in two weeks of running before the race so I can at least get through the Half Marathon but it's not looking good.
