Ok, all is well. I did my first 5 K today in 1 hour, 2 minutes. I was in the back of the group and happy with that. Considering that 22 months ago, I was completely bedridden and oxygen 24/7. As they were transferring me to a nursing home, they told me that I was going to need long time nursing care and be on oxygen with a trake in my throat for the rest of my life. NOT for this Jersey girl. Thank God, the pulminologist, respitory therapists, and physical therapists knew what to do and didn't give up on me. I'll never be the fastest person doing these things, but this is as good as it gets.

There's one coming up in March right around St.  Patrick's Day that I just found out about.  I'm starting to think about it.

Congrats!!!
You did a great job!  To me, winning is getting to the starting line of the race, because right there you've already gone past everyone who doesn't even try.

Whatever time you complete an event in is just merely a measure of where you are at that point in your life and a way to maybe keep things interesting.

Keep up the great work!  The sky is the limit!!
