I have always been interested in yoga, I had a couple of videos that I did once and never again. But, I finally bucked up and took a of class at my gym- and I'm in LOVE!

Yesterday during my second class, OMG-at the end of class, my body was humming...literally! I swear I have never had a full body workout that felt so amazing.

I get it now, and I can't wait to go to my next class!!! I never thought I'd say that :)

Ommmmmm.....

I love yoga!! Right now I am just doing it once a week. Soon I plan to do 2 classes a week. I am not very flexable so some of it is challenging. It has helped with my balance. I also think the breathing techniques have helped with my running.

Not yet. I have recently changed gyms and haven't gotten the schedule worked out yet. I am going to a studio right now. I bought a couple deals through Groupon. 10 visits for $25. I hope I am not too disappointed when I start going to the gym classes.

Have a great weekend!

Try Bikram Yoga! It burns 1000 cals per class. I have been doing it 5 times per week for the last 6 weeks and I  LOVE IT!

I would love to do it 5x a week, esp. at a real yoga studio. My gym is great, but it's a bit far to go there everyday.

I don't know about Bikram though, isn't that hot yoga? I hate heat, I don't think that would be for me!

Believe me! There is no one who hates the heat more than me.

But, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Bikram. I am attaching the link so you can see if there is a studio where you live.

You will hate it for at least the first 3X's you go but after that you will love the way it makes you feel.

I also spin, walk, run etc but nothing holds a candle that I get from my Bikram work out. My studio is having a 30 day challenge and I commited to going 5 X per week for 4 weeks which is why I have been there so much.

I am 13 weeks post op and I can see the difference that it is making to my body.

If you have any other questions let me know. Best of luck to you!

 LOL, I am!

Remember these things:

1. Drink PLENTY of water before hand (I drink about 32 oz) before class

2. Don't eat 2 hours before

3. Once you hit the floor you are 60 minutes into the 90 min session. Feeling dizzy is NORMAL

4. Bring a face towel, yoga mat, bath towel and another 32 oz of water into the room with you

5. Wear as little clothing as possible; I wear a sports tank and shorts

6. You will feel like jello but 45-60 after evaluate how you feel! It is addicting!

Good Luck and let me know how it goes!
