 Thought I'd do something different this morning.

I have a date with my trainer which will consist of some boxing and weights, then half hour on the elliptical and 15-30 on the bike (depending on how much my legs resemble Jello).

Ran 4.65 miles in 40:40 this morning. I teach Spin tonight at 5pm and may sneak in a swim if there us time. Marathon race week! Looking forward to a lil getaway and run with just me n the wife.

Tonight is P90X+ upper body and abs.

Friday's 8.8 mile hike turned out to be more like 11 miles when we JUST HAD to get off the trail to explore some abandoned cabins and then we HAD TO follow the road to "see where it went"....well, it "went" in a giant loop thru two other trails/connectors to return us TO EXACTLY WHERE WE GOT OFF THE FREAKING TRAIL!

My lower body hurts so bad.....but it was fun!

Forced myself to run yesterday since I baked homemade apple pie, and I knew I was gonna try it!  :)  BTW....it was a success, and that was my first attempt.  Used Honeycrisp apples...my fave apple....they are at the end of their season so try one quickly if you haven.t.....it kicks all other apples butts!

 35 minutes of intervals on the stair 'o death machine, equates to a 5k, chest and tris and wrecked my legs.  Not sure I'll be able to stand tomorrow.

Short 2.03 mile fast paced run. For me that is. 19:48 included a walk in between miles.

 30 mins on the treadmill then weights.  I'm on day 7 of the 2 week pre-op liquid thing and my energy level is a big fat zero.  A couple of you warned me this would happen but I wasn't prepared for how much of a difference it makes.  

Off to collapse on the floor now..
