bodybugg???? what do you think??
I love mine! It really helped me trust the signals my body was giving me because I could see that I was eating about what I burned (I'm in maintenance). Also, it showed me how little changes in routine could lead to big changes in calorie burn.
Though I bought the BodyMedia FIT. It's the same unit as the newer BodyBugg, just not marketed via The Biggest Loser.
One thing though: everyone I know and now me ends up only using it for 3 months. After that, you have a good idea of how much you burn in certain situations and don't need to wear it unless things change. So don't get a year's subscription because you won't use it!

I don't know a ton about the bodybugg, but I did pick up a FitBit about a year ago. Basically it's a "connected" pedometer. You wear it and everytime you walk by your computer and it's basestation it uploads to the website and gives you all sorts of stats on number of steps, calories, effort, etc. I faithfully wore it for about 6 months but kept forgetting to put it on or switch pants with it etc.
For the time I used it, it was a great reminder to keep my body moving. Now I just exercise because I enjoy it and track my runs, rides, etc with a variety of apps (using iSmoothRun at the moment).
I'm very interested in the Jawbone Up however. It appears like it would be much easier to just put it on and leave it on. (i.e. i wouldn't forget it in a pair of pants, etc.)
