Any one here do BRAG?
i haven't done that one, i've done ride across indiana a couple of times, but that is a one day event. i haven't done a multi-day ride event, mostly due to timing with vacations etc. if you start training i'm sure you would be able to do that ride next summer.
Where are we going?? And why am I in this handbasket??
right now. somewhere. somebody is working harder than you.

There's an Aides ride near me that starts in SF and ends in LA and I really want to do it some day.

It's going to depend on my job... which I still haven't got!
I have a feeling taking a week off in the summer is not going to be possible especially as I'm taking a week off in the beginning of Jan and then another week off at the end of Jan.

My brother who also had RNY, has done the BRAG several times, and does Bike across Virginia every year. It is a great event. You can pay to have a guy have a tent - air mattress - sleeping bag and chair set up and waiting for you at the end of each day. These are quality events. There is also one in the Finger Lakes of NY, and the classic is the Bike across Iowa.
