HR Changes Post Surgery?

I noticed my HR and BP was higher after surgery for maybe 4-6 weeks.  It concerned me enough to mention it to my doc on my first post-op (both primary doc and surgeon).  Basically I was told not to be too concerned as the body was adjusting to the stress of just getting cut into, etc.  I was pretty worried about it at first... as I had high BP before surgery and thought, "isn't surgery (weight loss) supposed to help drop my BP and not make it go up?!"

Anyway, it did eventually head down into much better (normal) territory and I haven't worried about it since.  May be something just to mention to the next doc you see, but likely nothing to worry about it.  You are only three weeks out. So impressed you are already doing everything you're doing.

Keep at it!
