Old Navy workout gear.

My running has been sh*t lately.  One way that I know of getting out of the funk is new workout gear.  I was at Old Navy the other day and saw their new line of workout gear that actually looks like it is pretty good quality.  I got a flourescent running jacket for $19, shorts for $7 and two pair of socks for 4 bucks.  Again, the quality looks good and the price was right. They had compression gear and a bunch of shirts and sweatshirts.  Anyway, I thought I would let you know.

I have some of their compression tights and LOVE them.  They're probably my favorite pair of running pants.

Hope your new loot gets you out of your running funk!

I hate my Old Navy workout pants. They don't breath so I get really hot when I run in them. And that's all I bought them for so I'm pissed.

The sports bras were a no-go in the store. I can't do the ones that comes in S, M, L, etc. I'm an XS in the band but a M or L in the cups so either the sports bra is too small or too big. But that's true of all bras that are sized like this, not just Old Navy.

It worked for this morning anyway. 3 miles with one short walk break. I bought the jacket because it's a reflective yellow and I agree with Mac that it desn't breathe at all. It will still work for what I got it for though.

What brand pants do y'all prefer? I guess I love my ON pants because I don't have anything better to compare them too. I did spend a lot on some Moving Comfort capris but don't really care for them. They smallest size they had was medium so they don't offer any compression. I prefer to run in something more fitted. Any suggestions for something good but that won't cost an arm and a leg?

My favorite are the CRX tights. I found them on closeout (last years model) at Sierra Trading Post for cheap. They are the best compression for the knees and lower legs that I've ever found.

Thanks for the heads up on the tights!  I've been trying to figure out what would be a decent brand now that it's getting cold and I want to keep running for as long as I can outside.

I haven't gotten any pants from there...but you might try Target.  Their line of stuff from Champion is pretty good and I've liked all the other items I've bought from there.

I also recommend TJ Maxx Active section.  I've gotten great bargains on Nike, Addidas, New Balance and Under Armour stuff there.

I like my Asics stuff the best. Champion is also good. And cheap. UnderArmour is another good brand and you can get them at Wal-mart, I'm told. I have a lot of UnderAmour compression-wear because theirs is cheaper than other brands but just as good.

I've got some good stuff there!

I've got some compression shorts and capris that I love, and my boyfriend got a wicking shirt and some running shorts that he favors.

And you find it all on clearance - WOOOHOO!!
