The radio station I listen to has started putting up playlists for running.  They are linking them to spotify so you can just click over and get the playlist if you have spotify.  If you don't have spotify it is still a good list of fun songs, I have been lsitening to them the past few days and really enjoying it.

Older guy here...60's and 70's rock with a hard beat.  Journey, Bruce Hornsby and the Range, Jackson Browne...Running on empty, early Rod Stewart, Christopher Cross, Randy Stonehill, Paul Simon with The Boy O Boy Boys...Love the name of that group!!

Here is one thing you can do.  Go to You Tube...find some of the songs you like.  After they play, they will have some other similar songs or some of the other popular songs from that same artist or group.  It helps you remember some of the old songs you use to enjoy...

Usually I jam to a mix of christian rock, 80's metal and some modern pop... but lately I have added in epic trailer music, like stuff from "Immediate".  Sort of like my own theme music for epic workouts :)  Give it a shot ;)

I like harder rock, and some rap.
It has to be upbeat or a strong beat.
A lot of the time though, I don't even hear the music when I run, that's why I like using the military running cadence songs.
It's easy to keep a pace with those, I find myself running through the song in my head even when I don't have them on.
