But you can use the excuse "I'm an Ironman so I deserve cool toys"

Oh but there is Andrew.

I bought an adapter that clamps onto and fills a spot between the TT bars

There is a large plastic crew that is split down the middle so you can wrap it around the aero bars.
It looks kind of like a large plastic kotter pin with threads on the outside.
Then there is a barrel that is threaded to screw onto the cotter pin.

it sits right between the two aero bars and it is curved on the end so it tucks in tightly agains the non screw side of the aero bars.

This is what I'm talking about

They have theirs setup weirdly I have mine between the parallel bars I also don't have the closed end of the aero bars.

There is another on that replaces the stem nut

I think I'm going to get one of these, because I like to have my aero drink bottle inbetween my aero bars.  this places the computer behind that and it is blocked by the aero bottle, so no additional drag.
Here is another picture

i have one of those for m5 305, works ok on a road bike, but not really any place for it on the tt.. besides, I'll lose like 15 seconds switching which will kill my IM time  :)
I put my watch from my wrist to my bike once I get going on the bike and  have settled down a bit. No time lost at all...
